Tejero used to be known as a mountain resort with just a river feed pool before, but they’ve made some exciting changes and all out expansion these past months. Now this resort in known as Tejero Highland Resort and Adventure Park and is considered as one of the must see eco-tourist destinations near Dumaguete.
Tejero offers lots of adventure activities for the whole family. Some of their best attractions are the ATV ( All Terrain Vehicle) tours and the Zegwee track.

One of the must try when in Tejero is their ATV tour. Tour rates starts from 300 Pesos to 550. Prices depends on the type of tour you will be availing. Best routes for the tour is from the resort going to Tierra Alta.
Learning to drive the ATV is very easy and can be learned by almost everyone even if you have no driving experience. Driving it is also fun specially that this mountain town provides uphill slopes and curving roads enough to challenge beginners and experts alike.

Tejero also offers the 2 wheeled eco-friendly scooter, the Zegwee, their version of the Segway vehicle. This vehicle is great for young adults. Fee for this ride is only 200 pesos and a track is provided near the resort’s parking lot so that you can try different maneuvers using this hi tech gyroscope ride!!!

After getting the hang of the Zegwee, we hit the race tracks.
The best way to cool off after these adventure rides is to take a dip in one of Tejero Resort’s Swimming pools.

Entrance Fees to the Main Swimming Pool Area are:
- 60 Pesos for Adults
- 48 Pesos for Senior Citizens
- 40 Pesos for Children under 12 years old
Paying these entrance fees will allow you access to the river feed swimming pool just across the street.
Tables for picnics can be rented for as low as 200 pesos. Larger cottages and tables are available for big families or groups.

How to get to Tejero from Dumaguete City?
The town of Valencia is just a jeepney ride away from Dumaguete. These jeepneys are usually found near the Dumaguete public market. A trip to Valencia is about 9 kilometers away and fare is only 12 pesos per person.
When in Valencia Public Market, ride a habal habal or tricycle to Tejero Resort. The resort is just 3 kilometers away from the town center and can be reached in about 10 minutes.
