One of the most awaited events for Sinulog 2012 is the annual procession or the Fluvial Parade in honor of Senior Sto. Nino or the Child Jesus.
The Sinulog Fluvial Parade is scheduled every third Saturday of January, a day before the grand Sinulog event. The procession usually starts at around 6 in the morning.
If you want to have a good view of this Sinulog event, the “best seats in the house” are located in the old Mactan Bridge where the procession usually starts. It is best to go there early as thousands of tourists and devotees never fails to come to this special religious event here in Cebu.

Locals usually bring with them flowers as offerings to the Sto. Nino and balloons where they would tie their wishes and prayers to the Patron of Cebu.
Dozens of boats of all sizes joined the Sinulog 2012 Fluvial Parade. A couple of low flying airplanes and a chopper was also in the scene and throws confetti as a sign that the procession would start.
